Peter Smith

Peter, a co-founder of Ellason, has over 30 years’ experience supporting remuneration committees and management teams on executive remuneration strategy.

Peter first advised on remuneration when he joined Strategic Compensation Associates in 1994, when it opened its London office. 6 years later, Peter co-founded Kepler Associates which grew to become the largest independent remuneration consultancy in the UK. In 2015, Peter became a Partner at Mercer on its acquisition of Kepler, before leaving to start Ellason in 2021.

Peter graduated from Cambridge University with a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering.
